Taiwan has signed MRAs on conformity assessment results with 8 countries. They basically cover electrical and electronic products. While the ones with the United States, Canada and Australia only apply to recognition of test reports, the ones with New Zealand, Singapore and Japan are full-fledged, with recognition extending to certificates. Testing laboratories or certification bodies were designated under the MRA frameworks, which allow products for export to the other contracting party to be tested locally, thus saving time and costs for industry.
